From Tian’anmen Square, you will visit the Forbidden City, the former Chinese imperial palace from the Ming dynasty to the end of the Qing dynasty. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a treasure trove of Chinese art and architecture. As you walk through its vast complex, your guide will provide insights into the lives of emperors and their courts, pointing out the most fascinating details and explaining the cultural and historical context of each site.

Lunch: Local Flavors

In the afternoon, you will venture into the Hutongs, the narrow alleys and traditional courtyard residences that are synonymous with old Beijing. This is where you’ll get a glimpse into the daily life of locals and the city’s past.

Your day begins with a meeting at the hotel lobby after a delightful breakfast. Our guide will be there to greet you, eager to lead you through the enchanting Summer Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a masterpiece of Chinese garden art. Lunch: A Taste of Beijing

After lunch, you’ll be transferred to the Beijing South Railway Station to board a high-speed train to Xi’an.

As you arrive in Xi’an, you’ll be welcomed by a local guide who will escort you to your hotel and help you check in.

Your Xian City Tour begins with a visit to the world-famous Terracotta Army Museum. This archaeological wonder is a testament to the grandeur of the Qin Dynasty.  You’ll be in awe of the thousands of life-sized terracotta figures, each with distinct features, that were buried with China’s first emperor to protect him in the afterlife.

Lunch: Local Delights

In the afternoon, you’ll have the unique opportunity to participate in a mini terracotta warrior handicraft session. Under the guidance of a local artisan, you’ll learn the traditional techniques used to create these iconic figures.

The final stop on your Xian City Tour is the Ancient City Wall, one of the most complete city walls in China. You’ll have the chance to walk or cycle along the top of this magnificent structure, offering panoramic views of the city. Our guide will provide insights into the wall’s construction and its role in Xian’s history, as well as pointing out key landmarks visible from the wall.

Your day in Xi’an begins with a visit to the Xi’an History Museum, a must-see destination for any history enthusiast. This museum is renowned for its extensive collection of artifacts that span over a thousand years of Chinese history.

The first stop is the Bund, Shanghai’s famous waterfront promenade. Here, you’ll be captivated by the stunning array of colonial-era buildings that line the Huangpu River, offering a glimpse into the city’s past as a global trading hub.

From the Bund, you’ll head to the pinnacle of modern Shanghai—the Shanghai Tower. As the second tallest building in the world, it offers a breathtaking view of the city’s skyline. Ascend to the observation deck for a panoramic vista of Shanghai.
