Winter (December to February): Harbin is known for its extremely cold winters. January, the coldest month, has an average temperature of around -17.2°C (1.1°F), with lows often dropping below -22.2°C (-8°F)。 December and February also experience harsh cold with average temperatures around -14°C (-11.4°F) to -12.3°C (10°F)。
Spring (March to May): Spring sees a rapid increase in temperature. March still experiences cold weather with an average temperature of -2.4°C (28°F), but by May, the weather warms up to an average of 15.9°C (60.6°F)。 April continues this warming trend with an average temperature of 8.0°C (46°F)。
Summer (June to August): Summer in Harbin is hot and rainy. July, the warmest month, has an average temperature of 23.8°C (74.9°F), with highs that can reach up to 28.2°C (83°F)。 June and August are also warm with average temperatures around 21.6°C (70.9°F) and 22.4°C (72.2°F) respectively。
Autumn (September to November): Autumn brings a decrease in temperature and rain. September starts with an average temperature of 16.4°C (61.5°F), dropping to 7.4°C (45.3°F) in October。 November becomes colder with an average temperature of -4.4°C (24.2°F)。
