Itinerary

Your tour guide will be waiting for you in the arrival hall of the airport with a warm grin once your aircraft arrives. Take a private vehicle with a driver to get to your hotel. After a short rest, you will take a 20-minute ferry and visit Gulangyu Island (4-5 hours island tour)

Travel 150 kilometers and 2.5 hours by car from Xiamen City to Nanjing Tulou this morning. We will provide you with a full-day guided trip to see the breathtaking Fujian Hakka Tulou. Exploring the Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster, which is the  must-visit with its 5 iconic Hakka Tulou buildings. Visit a Hakka household at lunchtime to savor delectable Hakka cuisine and learn about the way of life of the local Hakka residents. Proceed to Xiaban Village after lunch to see the Yuchang Building, dubbed the “Father of Fujian Tulou”. Drive to Taxia Village in the afternoon, a Hakka community in southern Fujian known for Zhouzhuang Water Town. Furthermore, it is not only a well-known longevity hamlet in Fujian Province but also a well-known overseas Chinese village. If time permits, you may also locate Mulan’s hometown from the Disney film by going to the Hekeng Tulou Cluster.

You will be escorted back to your Xiamen hotel after the trip.

Begin your day in serenity by visiting South Putuo Temple, also called Nanputuo Temple. This is one of Fujian’s most well-known temples and is regarded as a pilgrimage site by devoted followers from Southeast Asia. The temple, which has a thousand-year history, was first constructed as Sizhou Temple in the late Tang Dynasty.

Later on, you may wander around Zhongshan Pedestrian Street and experience the essence of historic Xiamen. The multitude of old Qilou buildings (also known as arcade-houses) that line Zhongshan Road are a notable attraction. These structures were built in the 1920s by Chinese immigrants who were returning from overseas.

Enjoy a peaceful drive along Huandao Road (Islet-Ring Road) after that. A popular seaside route in Xiamen, Huandao Road is known for its breathtaking views of the ocean, sandy beaches, and verdant surroundings. Take the bullet train to Wuyishan this afternoon; it will take two to three hours. Your guide will greet you when you arrive at the train station and drive you in a nice, private car to your hotel. You may check in and take some rest.

After breakfast, You will have the entire day to discover the spirit of Mount Wuyi on this particular day. First, ride a sightseeing bus to the base of Tianyou Peak, one of Wuyishan’s most well-known and popular sites. Tianyou Peak is also known as Heavenly Tour Peak. You will need to trek up a difficult stairway with over 800 steps in order to reach the peak of Tianyou Peak. Head to the pier in the afternoon for a bamboo rafting ride down the Nine Bend Stream to meander through Wuyishan’s waters and take in the breathtaking scenery, reminiscent of a stroll through a painting. Proceed to Wuyi Palace, which boasts a 1000-year history and is situated at the conclusion of the Nine Bend Stream bamboo rafting adventure. Song Street, which is near Wuyi Palace, will be your next stop. The 300-meter stretch of street unites contemporary specialty cuisine with historic intangible cultural heritage in a beautiful way.

You will take a sightseeing bus to the Da Hong Pao Scenic Area to start your adventure after breakfast. Begin with a visit to the 1,200-year-old Tianxin Yongle Zen Temple, where you may learn about the legends surrounding the famous tea known as “Da Hong Pao.” Admire the 350-year-old Da Hong Pao mother tree while taking a leisurely stroll through the tea estate. Drive to Xiamei Village this afternoon; this area was formerly known as the “Ten Thousand Miles Tea Road”. After the tour, your guide and driver will send you to airport.
