Activities: Airport pick-up, hutong tour with rickshaw, Wangfujing Pedestrian Street.

Our well-trained driver will pick up you at Beijing International Airport (PEK) and transfer you to the hotel to put the luggage, Then We’ll head to The old neighborhood- Hutong Area, which is still preserved very well even after five dynasties, and still some Beijing local people live here. The term of Hutong, originally from Mongolian language means ” Water Well”. It is now known as old alley. During this tour, you will explore the interesting Hutong where you can ride on a rickshaw and then visit a local family in one of the traditional courtyard houses. Chat with the families about their life, learn to make Chinese dumplings (jiaozi) or to learn Chinese Calligraphy or Chinese Paper Cut or Chinese Knot Making, etc. (Select one from above activities)  

After lunch, walking around Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, where, behind some of the world’s largest shopping malls,and then transfer back to the hotel to have a rest, rest of the day will be your leisure time.

Activities: The Temple of Heaven -Tiananmen Square- Forbidden City

Our well-trained guide and driver will pick up you at 09:00 AM in the hotel lobby. In the morning, you’ll  Explore the Temple of Heaven, the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest and Right now hundreds of locals stroll around early in the morning to practice tai chi, play erhu (two string violin), compete in Chinese chess, sing opera, dance with ribbons, swords and fans. Walk off the main path you will get some peace and quiet.

In the afternoon, visit the world’s largest urban centre square, Tiananmen Square, which is a site where many major historical and celebratory events happened. Walk through the square to the Golden Water Bridge; you’ll enter the largest as well as best-preserved imperial palace complex, Forbidden City.

Get back to the Hotel, relax & refresh

Activities: Great Wall at Mutianyu- Olympic Village

Today you’ll travel to the Great Wall at Mutianyu (approximately 1.5 hours’ drive). As one of the greatest wonders of mankind, the majestic Great Wall of China is always a must for those visitors to Beijing. It is one of most well-preserved Great Wall section as well as to avoid the crowds at Badaling. Upon arrival, you would be accompanied by your private guide walking on Great Wall, Cable car round way, OR chairlift up and toboggan down.

In the afternoon, on the way back to downtown Beijing, we will drive by go through the Olympic Green to have an outside look at the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube- it is known as the “Bird’s Nest” due to its iconic design was the key competition venue of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and the 13th Paralympic Games. And the National Aquatics Centre, also known as ”The Water Cube”, is one of the dramatic and amazing venues to host Beijing Olympics in 2008.

Activities: The Summer Palace – Railway Transfer (drop-off & Pick-up) 

Firstly,  you will visit the Summer Palace, reputed as the ‘Museum of Imperial Garden’, the Summer Palace is an imperial garden and temporary dwelling palace for the emperors built 260 years ago. It is also a large-scaled natural mountain and water garden.

After Lunch, We will drive to Beijing West Railway Station to take the high speed train to Xian. Be met upon arrival and then drive to the hotel.

Activities: Army of Terra-cotta Warriors, Grand Tang Dynasty Ever-bright City

Pick up from your hotel in Xian. First visit the Terra-cotta Army. To visit Army of Terra Cotta Warriors is the main reason why you are here in Xian. You may have already seen its pictures from China travel books or China tour related travel websites. The original site was found by a local farmer drilling a well in 1974. The museum and the mausoleum are listed the world’s cultural legacies as the UNESCO.

After lunch, drive back to the hotel to have a short rest.

In the night ,walk around Grand Tang Dynasty Ever-bright City ,full of Tang stylistic elements. Grand Tang Dynasty Ever-bright City’s Central Axis View Avenue is a 1,500-meter central and sculptured pedestrian street that runs from the north and south. It is surrounded by nine groups of themed groups such as the emperor, historical figures, heroic stories, and classic works of art, offering three-dimensional representations of the Tang Dynasty’s supremacy in the fields of religion, art, science and technology and to highlight the great country.

Activities: City Wall , The Mosque Street, airport Transfer (drop-off& Pick-up)

After breakfast, first visit the City Wall. The main magnet of Xian is the city wall, which is the most complete city wall that has survived in China as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. It was enlarged in Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) from the city wall initially built in Tang Dynasty (618 -907). Now it is 12 meters tall, 12-14 meters wide overing 14 kilometers in length with a deep moat surrounding it. You can walk, even cycle on the wall.

Lastly come to visit The Mosque Street, The Muslims settled in Xi’an during the glory days of the Silk Road, which connected East and West for trading purposes. Originating in Central Asia, the Muslims arrived to trade in the exotic goods they brought to the then capital of the Chinese Empire. Over time, a huge community of Muslims became assimilated into the population and has recreated its traditional way of life. They brought with them their delicious food, their clothes and customs, and built a beautiful Mosque at the heart of the once cosmopolitan capital. We roam the colorful market. Then we will drive to Xian Airport and Take the flight to Chengdu. Be met upon arrival and then drive to the hotel to check in.

Activities: Leshan Grand Buddha

After breakfast, We’ ll drive to Leshan Grand Buddha, takes about 2 hours on the high way along the beautiful scenery of Chuanxi Plain. Visit the Grand Buddha by walking up to Lingyun mountain, have a very close to see the Buddha. You need to walk down by the zig narrow path to the foot of the Buddha, and you will find out a lot of stunning small Buddha statues around the Giant one. Visit the temples on the top back of this Buddha. Drive to Emei mountain, check in and have a good rest.

Activities: Golden Summit

After breakfast take the local sightseeing bus to upper station – Leidongping where you hike about 1.5km to get to the Jieyingting Cableway Station. Then we will take cableways to the top of Emeishan – Golden Summit where we can see golden Buddha statue, grandiose temples, endless stretching cloud sea, etc. After the sightseeing around the summit we will start to go back down the mountain. Then drive back to Chengdu and transfer to your hotel.

Activities: Chengdu Panda Base, Dufu Thatched Cottage Museum, Wide and Narrow Alley, airport Transfer

The driver and tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby at Morning 07:30 drive about 0.5 hour to the Chengdu Panda Base. You will catch pandas’ feeding time, they are at their most active, both Adults and Babies. Later then you can go to watch the film at Panda Museum to know the panda daily life, Baby getting birth, ect.

After the lunch, We’ll head to Dufu Thatched Cottage Museum in west city. From the beautiful garden, bamboo forest,  and vivid sculpture of Dufu and his cottage, all will tell you the broad heart of great patriot – Mr. Dufu. 

Then you will head for the Wide and Narrow Alley built about 300 years ago. Although many of western coffee, bars have occupied here, you can still trace the ancient history through the square yard and wooden door. About 1 hour’s visit here. It is also a good place for photographers. Then we will drive to Chengdu Airport and Take the flight to Guilin. Be met upon arrival and then drive to the hotel to check in.

Activities:  Longji Terracd Rice Field

Transfer to the airport to take the morning flights to Guilin, Be met with private vehicle & tour guide and then drive to Longji Terracd Rice Field (2-hour driving). The rice terraces cover an area of 66 square kilometers, they were built 600 hundreds years ago by the local ethnic people. There are several villages in Longji. The four most famous ones are Ping’an Zhuang Village, Longji Ancient Zhuang Village, and Jinkeng and Dazhai Yao villages.

In the afternoon, We firstly head to Longji Ancient Zhuang Village, a well-preserved village that recently opened to tourists. There are 700 ethnic people resident there. They still abide by traditional customs and ways of farming. Transfer back to Guilin hotel (2-hour driving)

Activities:  Li River Cruise- Yangshuo West Street-Impression Liusanjie

Depart from your hotel in the morning. Be transferred to the Pier by our driver (about 40 minute drive) for a 4-4.5 hours wonderful Li-River cruise. You will enjoy the picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields, farms and villages with water buffalos, cows wondering around on both sides of the river bank. A Chinese buffet lunch is served on the most comfortable 4-star Li River cruise boat. When the boat arrives at 1.30 pm to 2.30 pm (depending on water levels), Our tour guide will take you to Yangshuo West Street, also called Foreigner’s Street. With a history of over 1,400 years and located in the center of the town, Yangshuo West Street is the busiest as well as the oldest street in the town;

Tonight you will enjoy the largest live-action performance of landscape in the world—-<Impression Liusanjie> directed by Mr. Yimou Zhang-the world famous director, the general director of the Opening Ceremony for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Stay in Yangshuo for overnight.

Activities:  Airport Transfer, Yu Gardens, Nanjing Road & Bund, Huangpu River Cruise

Transfer to the Guilin airport (1.5 hours) to fly to Shanghai, Be met upon arrival and then Head to the most popular Yu Garden – a lovely Ming Dynasty garden dotted with bridges, pavilions, pools, and rock formations.

Walking around the Nanjing Road and the Bund, Nanjing Road is the world’s longest shopping street. Its six kilometers of shops, boutiques, malls and department stores attract over one million people every day, symbolic of Shanghai’s rapid ascent as a capitalist enclave in a communist land. Go to the Bund to Visit Shanghai’s iconic waterfront with its austere colonial buildings, and enjoy the cruise in the Huangpu River, which is the gateway to Yangtze to enjoy the night view of Shanghai. Transfer back to the hotel

Activities: Boating tour at Zhujiajiao Water town

After breakfast, you will visit the Zhujiajiao Water Town, Known as the Venice of Shanghai, which is an ancient water town which is known as the “pearl stream” with over 1,000 years history and is best known for its bridges and old streets and gardens built during Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are famous sites like Fangsheng Bridge, Baoguo Temple, town god’s temple and Zhuxi Garden, offering different kinds of photo opportunities. Walk the quaint waterways and bridges of Zhujiajiao.

Activities: Jade Buddha Temple, Jinmao Tower, Xiantiandi & Former French Concession

Today you will visit the Jade Buddha Temple ,which is a working monastery as well as a place of worship. It was built in 1884 to store two jade Buddhas presented to the Qing Dynasty government by an abbot from a neighboring province. Then head to visit the Jin Mao Tower (420.5 meters)- Being the third tallest building only to Shanghai Tower and Shanghai World Financial Center in Shanghai

After lunch, Head to Xintiandi to enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere of this contemporary lifestyle hub built in a series of old lanes, it is one of Shanghai’s most popular areas for affluent locals and curious visitors. Stroll down Former French Concession, from Fuxi park to Sinan Mansions, Visit probably the most fashionable quarter of Shanghai, remodeled for 51 art-deco style residential block, into a compound of trendy venues, to Huaihaifang to visit Local Lanehouse compound, then to Jinjiang Hotel, the oldest “modern” hotel in China, where Sino-US joint declaration on normalizing relations were announced, end the walking tour at Okura Garden Hotel Shanghai.

Then you will be transferred to the Shanghai Pudong Airport to take the flights back home. Your wonderful trip will meet the ends.
