Day 1 Kunming Arrival → Stone Forest → Yuanyang Rice Terraces → Xinjie Town → Trek along Longshuba Rice Terrace →Mushroom-shaped Houses
Our well-trained driver and tour guide will meet you outside the customs of Kunming Changshui Airport after your check-out procedures are fully completed and then transfer to your hotel to check in.
Start our explore journey first Station is visit the Stone Forest in Shilin County . The Stone Forest in Shilin Yi Autonomous County is a remarkable natural wonder. It is composed of countless limestone formations that resemble a forest of stones. The karst landscape is truly spectacular, with towering pinnacles, narrow passages, and unique rock shapes. Meanwhile It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site, offering visitors a chance to explore its beauty and learn about its geological significance.
Then continue driving to Yuanyang Rice Terraces which is Situated in the southern part of Ailao Mountain in Honghe Prefecture, they are a masterpiece of human ingenuity and nature’s beauty. The terraced fields stretch as far as the eye can see, with thousands of layers cascading down the slopes. The varying water levels in the terraces create a stunning mirror-like effect, reflecting the sky and surrounding landscapes. It’s a place where the ancient farming practices of the Hani people have been preserved, presenting a unique cultural and natural heritage .
You have time to tour around Xinjie Town to trek along Longshuba Rice Terrace and see kinds of Mushroom-shaped Houses. Longshuba Rice Terrace: Located 5 km from Xinjie Town(old county seat of Yuanyang), Longshuba Rice Terrace is only accessible by foot around 40 minutes. When you arrive there, you will be surprised by the unique red duckweed and colorful rice terraces. Mushroom-shaped Houses: Where there are Hani people, there are Mushroom-shaped Houses. Inspired by the Mushroom, the Hani people built their houses. Nowadays, numbers of mushroom houses spread in Hani Villages, making a wonderful landscape with peaks, sea of clouds and diverse rice terraces.

Day 2 Yuanyang Hani Rice Terraces→ Duoyishu Rice Terrace→Hani Villages
The driver and tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby at Morning.
First Station is visit Yuanyang Hani Rice Terraces,these terraced fields present a vast and captivating panorama. Rooted in culture, they showcase traditional farming methods. The greenery and glistening water create a beautiful landscape. A visit here offers a glimpse into the unique history and culture of the area.
Then we visit the local Hani Villages which are Nestled among the magnificent rice terraces, these villages exude a charm of tradition and simplicity. The unique Hani architecture, with its thatched roofs and wooden structures, is a reflection of their rich cultural heritage. The villagers’ warm hospitality and their age-old farming practices add to the allure. It’s a place where one can experience the tranquility and beauty of rural life meanwhile to immerse the authentic rural life and also find how the Hani people live their lives.

Day 3 Zhu Family Garden→Jianshui Old Town→Confucius Temple
On the way back to Kunming. We will stop to visit Jianshui Zhu Family Garden which is a remarkable traditional Chinese garden. Boasting exquisite architecture and charming landscapes, it showcases the elegance and grandeur of ancient Chinese design. Once the residence of a prominent and wealthy family, The garden’s intricate carvings, It is a true gem that stands as a testament to the architectural and artistic achievements of the past.
Next Station is visit Jianshui Old Town where in the southeast of Yunnan Province, is a place full of charm and history. It has a history of over 1,200 years and is renowned for its well-preserved traditional architecture like the Confucius Temple and the Zhu Family Garden. The ancient city walls and gates stand as silent witnesses to its past. The unique local customs and festivals add to its cultural allure.
