Itinerary

Upon your arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by our private guide. Following the transfer to your hotel, you will proceed with the check-in process. The remainder of the day will be at your leisure.

After breakfast, take a private Tai Chi class directly in front of the Temple of Heaven, where ancient Chinese kings used to worship god in the past. Taichi is an age-old Chinese martial art that can help you feel refreshed and relieve mental and physical stress.

After that, stroll around Tiananmen Square to see the Chinese national flags flying.

Local lunch

Explore Forbidden City, a genuinely restricted area for common people and the location where the emperors lived and met their cabinet members. However, the Forbidden City is now open to the public. Admire the largest piece of ancient wooden architecture in the world, along with its many treasures.

Get back to the hotel, relax & refresh.

You will visit a TCM hospital with your guide, where you will learn about the theory, history, and applications of TCM. Consult a TCM physician for a diagnosis (pulse-feeling) and to discuss any health issues you may be experiencing. If you’re interested, you can try TCM massage, acupuncture, or herbal prescriptions.

In the afternoon, explore China’s famous landmark, the Great Wall, this afternoon. It is a popular destination for people of all ages.  Enjoy the breathtaking views as you travel the Mutianyu Great Wall‘s round-about cableway.

Get back to the hotel, relax & refresh.

Attend a workshop to enroll in a private half-day Zen Buddhism class. Zen Buddhism teaches its adherents to practice their hearts in order to gain wisdom and find serenity in everyday life. Following a master will allow you to experience the state of meditation and practice Zen Buddhist rituals. You can also learn how to make Zen tea and eat Zen vegetarian lunches if you’d like.

Keep exploring Beijing. Travel through the narrow hutong alleys in a vintage rickshaw, a mode of transportation from the early 20th century. With its abundance of historic structures and cultural landmarks, it is a hidden gem in Beijing.

Get back to the hotel, relax & refresh.

See the Summer Palace after breakfast. Admire the exquisite architecture of the royal garden in ancient China. See the White Pagoda, the grand palace set against a hillside, and far-off mountains while cruising on Kunming Lake in a lordly dragon boat that crosses arch bridges.

After lunch, transfer to airport and take a plane to Chengdu. Stay overnight at Qingcheng Mountain.

After breakfast, ascend Qingcheng Mountain via cableway and take in the breathtaking sweeping view. Explore the hidden trails dotted with old trees to see some of the top ten Taoist monasteries, such as Jianfu Palace, the Pavilion of Happiness, and most importantly, Tianshi Cave, a temple erected in honor of the Heavenly Master, the Taoist founder.

Adhere to the Taoist lifestyle to maintain your health and tranquility. And practice Tai Chi with a master while surrounded by peace and the whole mountain.

Get back to the Hotel, relax & refresh.

Notice: When you get back to the hotel, you might get a relaxing spa treatment.

Attend the resort’s Tai Chi class in the morning.

After that, visit the historic Dujiangyan Irrigation System, which was first constructed in 256 BC during the Warring States Period in China. It is the oldest hydraulic engineering still in use today. It has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is still in use today after more than 2,200 years.

Travel to Chengdu and check in hotel, relax & refresh.

The best time to see the cute giant pandas at Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is in the morning, when you can visit them while they are eating breakfast, playing in the grasslands, and climbing trees.

Savor afternoon tea at a charming local tea house while learning about Chengdu’s rich tea culture. The residents of the tea house lead slow, relaxed lives, playing chess, mahjong, drinking tea, and conversing.

Before fly to Guilin, the most beautiful city in China, take a stroll down Jinli Ancient Street.

Arrive in Guilin and transfer to hotel for rest.

Get on your opulent riverboat and head out on the Li River this morning. The heart of the UNESCO-listed South China Karst is the Li River, which CNN named one of the top 15 rivers in the world for tourists. See striking karst peaks, far-off villages, and the sight on the RMB 20 Yuan note as you travel.

Step ashore in Yangshuo and stroll through the busy town center’s West Street. After that, enroll in a calligraphy class to learn more about traditional Chinese art. Learn how to use an inkstick and brush, as well as how to apply it on paper. Chinese characters are beautiful to look at, and you should write them down yourself. Chinese calligraphy is considered a fulfilling pastime for senior citizens, but it demands patience and focus.

After the tour, get back to the hotel, relax & refresh.

After practicing Tai Chi with a local master in the morning, take a private class to learn how to cook Chinese food and purchase food supplies at a traditional wet market to experience life in a Chinese village.

Learn Chinese cooking techniques and skills from a teacher. In the afternoon, relax in your private car as you continue exploring Yangshuo’s countryside.

Enjoy the breathtakingly gorgeous surroundings, which include limestone hills, verdant vegetation, winding rivers, and expansive farmlands that extend to historic villages. And to learn more about village life in China, pay a visit to a local family.

After the tour, get back to the hotel, relax & refresh.

Drive back to Guilin after exploring the enchanted Reed Flute Cave. The cave’s stalactites and stalactitums grow wildly and have created a wide variety of amazing shapes, including towers, waterfalls, pillars, lions, flowers, and more.

Travel from Guilin to Hong Kong by high-speed train.

Transfer to Hong Kong hotel upon arrival.

Free day at your own.

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby and send you to airport/train station.
