Day 2 Beijing City Tour: The Forbidden City+Tiananmen Square+ Beijing Roast Duck Lunch +Hutong Tour in Dongcheng District
Your day begins at the symbolic center of Beijing, Tiananmen Square, the world’s largest public square, where you can witness the grandeur of the national flag-raising ceremony and the Monument to the People’s Heroes. From here, you’ll proceed to the majestic Forbidden City, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the former imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties. With over 9,000 rooms spread across 720,000 square meters, the Forbidden City is a treasure trove of Chinese art and architecture, offering a glimpse into the lives of ancient emperors and their courts.
Lunch: Beijing Roast Duck Lunch. No visit to Beijing is complete without sampling the city’s most famous dish – Beijing Roast Duck.
After lunch, immerse yourself in the authentic Beijing experience with a Hutong Tour in the Dongcheng District. These narrow alleys, or ‘hutongs,’ are lined with traditional courtyard houses called ‘siheyuan,’ which have been home to generations of Beijing residents.

Embark on your cruise from Guilin to Xingping. As you set sail, take in the breathtaking views of the karst mountains that rise majestically from the river’s edge.. Keep an eye out for the iconic Nine Horses Fresco Hill, where you can test your imagination to see the shapes of horses in the rock formations.
Disembark at Xingping, a historic town known for its well-preserved ancient buildings and stunning river views. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to stroll through the town, visit local shops, and perhaps pick up some souvenirs.
Local Lunch
Arrive in Yangshuo and transfer to a local vehicle for a countryside tour. Head to the famous West Street in Yangshuo, a vibrant and bustling area filled with shops, cafes, and restaurants. Enjoy some free time to explore, shop for local handicrafts, and sample the diverse culinary offerings.
