Day 1 Guiyang Arrival
Greetings from the lovely “City of Forest,” Guiyang, the provincial center of Guizhou! Your driver and local guide will greet you at the airport or train station arrival hall and take you to your downtown Guiyang hotel. You have the remainder of the day to yourself to enjoy the sights of Guiyang!

Day 2 Guiyang → Huangguoshu Waterfall → Anshun
Drive to Anshun for today’s excursion to Huangguoshu Waterfall, the biggest waterfall in Asia, approximately 2.5 hours after breakfast. See the Doupotang Scenic Area, which served as a filming location for the popular TV adaptation of “Pilgrimage to the West,” one of the four classic works of Chinese literature. After that, ride the sightseeing car to get a close-up look at the Tianxingqiao Scenic Area. Discover the essence of the Karst landscape and why it is praised as a miniature version of a fairyland featuring many vistas from various perspectives and a picture-perfect setting with flowers and birds, water and mountains, a forest and a cave, etc.
Next, ride the sightseeing car to the famous Huangguoshu Waterfall, which is 101 meters broad and 77.8 meters high. It is the largest waterfall in all of Asia and one of the most well-known waterfalls worldwide, with a breathtaking and breathtaking beauty. Stroll around the waterfall to take in its unique scenery from various perspectives and experience the awe-inspiring sound of it plunging into a shoal that is 17 meters deep.
Following the tour, you will be escorted to the hotel in Anshun City by your guide and driver, who will assist you with check-in. Stay in Anshun for the night.

Day 3 Anshun → Qingyan Ancient Town → Kaili
You will be driven to Anshun City’s Dragon Palace Scenic Area this morning after breakfast, approximately an hour’s journey. “The world of Karst shows all in Dragon Palace” is how this 60 square kilometer National AAAAA Tourist Area is acclaimed.
Take a boat to reach the Karst First and Second Entrance of Dragon Palace in order to fully immerse yourself in the vibrant underground palace made of different-shaped stalactites with amazing lighting suspended above by nature. This amazing structure resembles the legendary crystal living palace of the holy Dragon King from Chinese mythology. After that, go to Guanyin Cave to witness how nature fashioned the enormous, naturally occurring Karst cave with a stalactite that is more than 50 meters high and resembles the Goddess of Mercy. If you have time, keep walking around the 101-meter-diameter Rotating Pond, a classic Karst funnel landform.
After that, spend 1.5 hours being escorted to South Guiyang’s Qingyan Ancient Town. This town was founded between the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368 – 1911). It was constructed entirely of stone. You will spend roughly two hours exploring the town and taking in its magnificent temples, historic alleyways, and other architectural marvels.
Following the visitation, you will be driven to Kaili for around 2.5 hours! Spend the night at Kaili!

Day 4 Kaili → Langde Upper Miao Village → Transfer to Fanjingshan
Once you’ve had your breakfast, get started on today’s adventure. Known as “the Hometown of Chinese Folk Song and Dance Art,” Langde Upper Miao Village is the first stop of the day and is about 28 kilometers from Kaili. When you go to the village, the lovely ladies and girls who are elegantly dressed in traditional Miao costumes will meet you with real tenderness during a traditional welcome ritual and serve you “block-the-way” wine. After the friendly drinks, take in even more of the lively atmosphere at the Lusheng Ground with a captivating singing and dancing performance. Here, the graceful women will display their skills through captivating dances, while the gifted men of the hamlet will perform on the Lusheng, a traditional musical instrument.
Subsequently, you will visit Matang Gejia Village, an archaic Miao village home to more than 400 Gejia people—unofficially referred to as China’s 57th ethnic group. Matang Village is well-known for its vibrant festivals, unusual clothing, and rustic atmosphere. Because the women and girls here are experts in batik, you can fully appreciate the villagers’ superb craftsmanship as well as the distinctiveness of the Gejia batik patterns and needlework.
Drive for almost three hours to Tongren City, at the base of Fanjingshan, following the visit! For the next trekking day, get a restful night’s sleep!

Day 5 Fanjingshan → Tongren
Your driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel after breakfast and take you to Fanjingshan, which was inducted into the UNESCO World Natural Heritage list in 2018.
Once inside the mountain, ride a sightseeing bus for roughly 20 minutes to Yu’ao Station. From there, take a cable car for a another 20 minutes to get a bird’s eye perspective of Mount Fanjing’s rich emerald forest. 45 minutes of hiking from the Forest Hiking Road will get you to the well-known Mushroom Stone. After that, climb for another thirty minutes or so to reach the Old Golden Summit and ascend to its summit. From the top, you can make out the famous Red Clouds Golden Summit in the distance.
After that, take a leisurely stroll down to enjoy the surrounding natural surroundings. Take the sightseeing bus or cable car down to leave Fanjingshan Scenic Area after your fantastic sightseeing trekking exploration.
